Yolanda Adams under IRS Investigation.Gospel queen and syndicated radio host Yolanda Adams is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service. The forty-six year old star is under court order by a federal judge to turn over her financial records for 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004, after failing to show up for an appointment last month to clarify her financial affairs. The IRS has demanded information on the singer’s endorsements and royalties.
The audit was prompted by two 2005 loan applications that listed conflicting information on the Grammy Award winner’s finances.
On a 2005 loan document Yolanda listed that she earned $40,000 a month and listed $8 million in assets, along with an $800,000 trust account, $4.9 million in other personal holdings and jewelry valued at $1.5 million; she claimed ownership of a Lexus and a Hummer. A Chase home loan application, filed that same year, listed $3 million in assets, including a business worth $1.5 million, a Mercedes-Benz and a Range Rover.

Tusker Project Fame Inside Smitta's boo,Sharonova, was quite the centre of attention during last friday's launch of Tusker Project Fame 2.The reason? Many celebs in attendance seemed curious to check her out to see 'where' she had been assaulted, following an alleged home invasion incident the week before by a drunken mob claimed to have been led by a chick known as Bernadette and a man called Patrick.During the alleged incident Sharonova was said to have been 'smote' and her car,a Caldena, pushed to the roadway by the gang.Celebs, from Homeboyz FM DJs to Fundi Frank,GidiGidi and Shaffie Weru, all offered their 'condolences' as they tried to locate her injuries.Sharonova, though declined to show. With a smile she said:"They are too (t)high up...."The case, though, thanks to diligent LA(ngata) coppers,is firmly headed to the courts
Meanwhile Valerie Kimani, the first winner of Tusker Project Fame reality show has no apologies for those who feel that she hasn't lived up to their expectations."I took a risk and took a different route from the kind of music people expected me to sing.I can't do Kapuka or Genge and I know my music is not popular with Kenyans. But this is what I chose to do,"she said.Valerie says that her record company has sold over 6,000 copies of her 13-track debut album 'Baisikeli'."I am living the dream.I am targeting the international market,"she adds. The singer has been under pressure from her fans, some of who feel that she is not living to the expectations of the pop star she was said to become after winning the heavily contested prestigious music deal. The singer took nine months before she could release her album. She was later booed on stage during her maiden concert sometime ago during a highly attended Tusker sponsored event at Nyayo Stadium."All I can tell the guys who want to participate in the second edition of Tusker Project Fame show is that Project Fame is not your neighborhood competition.Come ready for the challenge,"she advised

Inspired by Otuonick's (who I will now call Cliff from now on) wierd facts post, here is a list of famous Cheers character Cliff Claven's "facts".
"Due to the shape of the North American elk's esophagus, even if it could speak, it could not pronounce the word lasagna."
"It's a little-known fact that the smartest animal is the pig. Scientists say if pigs had thumbs and a language, they could be trained to do simple manual labor. They'd give you 20 to 30 years of loyal service and, at their retirement dinner, you could eat them!"
Well you see, Norm, it’s like this…A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers. It's a little known fact that cows were domesticated in Mesopotamia and were also used in China as guard animals for the Forbidden City I wonder if you know that the harp is a predecessor of the modern day guitar. Early minstrels were much larger people. In fact, they had hands the size of small dogs. If you were to go back in history and take every president, you'll find that the numerical value of each letter in their name was equally divisible into the year in which they were elected. By my calculations, our next president has to be named Yellnick McWawa. If memory serves, the umbilical chord is 90% potassium.

DNA and DNG connedHigh riding rapper DNA and DNG-who claim they are cousins-are still in shock after they got conned into binge drinking by Mombasa-based promoter Beyonce(Beyonce Entertainment) who had promised to settle the bill. The two musicians had gone to Coast to perform during the peace concert held in Mombasa recently when they met the bootilicious Beyonce who offered to cater for their drinks. It is said that DNA and DNG accompanied Beyonce to Pirates Club for the treat."She told us to drink whatever we wanted promising that she would settle the bill.
We continued to drink because we trusted her word.Later in the evening she disappeared and did not show up at the club again. Her phone was duly switched off and we were left there, stranded with a bill of about KShs5,000,"they claimed.DNA was apparently drinking his favourite beer Guinness while DNG was drowning shots of Vodka and Pilsner.Shocked by the turn of events since they didn't have enough cash to settle the bill, they made distress calls."We had to plead with the management of the club who allowed us to withdraw cash from an ATM in Mombasa town(kilometres away),otherwise we would have 'chongad viazi,"said DNG.What a shame
